View Kayenta – Grand Canyon – Williams in a larger map
Today we left at 8:30am to the Grand Canyon. It is one of the 7th world wonders. But first we make a stop at the Cameron Trading Post. Where we got some coffee and shopped for souvenirs. After the stop we drove to the first view point, that one was called Watchtower – Desert View. The second view point was Grandview Overlook where we took another group photo. The third stop was at the Visitor Center and after that we went hiking on the rim to Hermit’s Rest. Somewhere in the middle we took the bus. But the last part we also walked. From Hermiss rest we also took the bus back to the parking. All the stops had a very beautiful view over the Grand Canyon. After hiking we went to the helicopter. Six of us went flying. The flight was amazing. We had a very nice view from above. After we had spent the whole day at the Grand Canyon we went to Williams where our hotel was situated.
