View Visalia – Barstow – Calico – Las Vegas in a larger map

8:30am: We left the Holiday Inn Hotel in Visalia and drove through the Mojave desert. After about three hours we arrived in Barstow where we had lunch. After the stop it was only a few miles to the Ghost Town of Calico. There we made a stop of about an hour and walked through this little town up the mountain. Once it was a ghost town but they rebuild the buildings and made souvenir shops in it.

After Calico we drove another 2.5 hours but eventually we made it to Las Vegas.
