Malibu

From the hotel we start going north on HWY 1 (Pacific Coast Highway). At the Malibu Inn we have a little coffee break and watch the surfer across the street. At Zuma Beach we stop at How’s Supermarket to buy water for our trip.

Santa Barbara

From the tower of the Santa Barbara Courthouse we enjoy a wonderful view over Santa Barbara. The weather is really good now, the day started kind of grey. Then we walk on State Street and have lunch. Before we leave Santa Barbara we stop briefly at the Mission, where a couple is getting married.

Highway 1

In San Simion we stop at the sea lion beach and continue to the Jennifer Pfeiffer State Beach and Big Sur, where we get the opportunity to walk among the pacific red wood trees. It is getting late now but before getting to our hotel in Monterey we stop at the Bixby Bridge, which was built in 1932.
